Australia is willing to invite Vietnamese companies to the country to explore new clean energy opportunities as well as cooperation opportunities with Australian partners in technology transfer, she said, affirming that the cooperation programs will help strengthen bilateral relations and enhance trade and investment partnerships between the two countries.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy thanked the Australian government for supporting Vietnam in innovation, noting that many cooperative activities have been carried out jointly by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Since 2018, the two sides have worked together to research and publish reports on Vietnam’s digital economy as well as assessing the contributions of innovation to Vietnam’s socio-economic development, he said.
