Types of Trading Accounts

General Account Information

Admiral Markets lets you choose between five different accounts. Three accounts are presented on the MetaTrader 5 platform:

  • Trade.MT5;
  • Invest.MT5;
  • Zero.MT5.

And two accounts – on the MetaTrader 4 platform:

Admiral Markets trading accounts differ in Minimum Trading Deposit, Financial Instruments, Leverage, Spread Points, Commissions, No Quote, Execution Type, Minimum and Maximum Order Size, Margin Call, Protection Policy against negative balance, Islamic account option, hedging and additional features.

The characteristics of each account are presented below.

Trade.MT5

This type of account allows the trader to open positions in most instruments offered by Admiral Markets, with the exception of certain currency pairs and stocks. At the same time, access to stocks and ETFs is given in the form of CFD contracts, which allows opening both buy and sell orders.

Opening an account is possible from 100 EUR or an equivalent amount in the following currencies: GBP, USD, CHF, BGN, CZK, HRK, HUF, PLN, RON.

Clients benefit from a leverage of 1:10 to 1:500, depending on the conditions of opening an account. The spread is floating from 0.5. When trading stocks and ETFs, a commission is charged from 0.01 USD per share. The use of other instruments does not involve any commission.

Order execution is at market with a minimum order size of 0.01 and up to 100 lots. Marge call ranges from 30-50%.

This account allows you to open the Islamic account and use hedging, i.e. open positions in opposite directions.

The account allows the use of automatic algorithms created in the MQL language, as well as the use of additional features and access to news and analysis. The account is presented on the MetaTrader 5 platform.

Accordingly, this account is suitable for a trader who trades in different intraday and mid-term markets. The account is convenient for algorithmic traders.

Invest.MT5

This type of account allows a trader to trade stocks and ETFs listed on the 15 largest stock exchanges. The account assumes non-leveraged investments, i.e. the complete purchase of an asset. It therefore has no Margin Call и Stop Out levels. The account does not provide the ability to open opposing positions or sell assets without owning them.

Opening an account is possible from 1 EUR or an equivalent amount in the following currencies: GBP, USD, CHF, BGN, CZK, HRK, HUF, PLN, RON.

When trading, a commission is charged from 0.02 USD per share. The maximum number of open and pending trading orders is 500. There is no option to open an Islamic account.

Overall, this account is suitable for beginners and professionals who invest in the stock market.

Zero.MT5

This type of account is similar to Trade.MT5, but has a number of differences. First, the list of traded instruments is modified: 5 currency pairs are added, the list of CFD contracts is reduced. Second, the spread starts at 0 pips. At the same time, commissions on Forex, metals, indices and energies are added. Third, the maximum order size is increased to 200 lots. Fourth, the option to open an Islamic account is removed.

As a result, this account is convenient for those new to trading and professionally trading the Forex market and the most widely used CFD contracts.

Trade.MT4

This type of account is similar to Trade.MT5, but has a number of peculiarities. First, the list of traded instruments is reduced. Second, the maximum number of open and pending trading orders is 200 instead of 500. Third, Trade.MT4 does not allow opening an Islamic account. Fourth, there is no access to the “market depth” option – an interface to view the order book. Fifth, the platform for this account is MetaTrader 4.

Thus, this account will appeal to those who trade in different markets and use the MetaTrader 4 terminal, as well as create and use Expert Advisors and indicators in the MQL4 programming language.

Zero.MT4

This type of account is similar to Zero.MT5 except for the following features. First, the maximum number of open and pending trading orders is 200 instead of 500. Second, there is no access to the “market depth” option. Third, the platform for this account is MetaTrader 4.

Accordingly, this type of account is suitable for traders who prefer Forex and use the MetaTrader 4 terminal.
