Lazard Frères Gestion has just announced on June 24 the appointment of Louis Lamort as head of the life insurance brokerage business. He joined the LFG Courtage subsidiary in May 2022. He replaces Cécile Jardin-Hirschler, who has exercised her retirement rights.
In his new position, Louis Lamort is responsible for developing the life insurance offer, supervising the link between LFG Courtage and partner insurers, as well as monitoring this activity with the services of Lazard Frères Gestion. and Lazard Frères Bank. He will report to Stéphane Jacquin, managing partner and head of asset engineering.
Louis Lamort joins from the private bank of JP Morgan, where he was responsible for the French market for the brokerage activity since 2019. Previously, he worked at Banque Transatlantique, where he held the position of specialist in life insurance then of a private banker.
The Lazard group manages $274 billion in assets under management in the financial advisory and asset management businesses.
