LUXEMBOURG – The CEO of the Foyer Group has been appointed president of the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies. He has held this position before.

The administrators of the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (ACA) elected Marc Lauer as Chairman at the June 16 board meeting. This is what the ACA said on Friday in a press release.

As a reminder, the CEO of the Foyer Group had already chaired the ACA between 2008 and 2010, then between 2014 and 2016 and more recently from May 2020 to March 2022. He replaces Christian Gibot, CEO of Cardif Lux Vie, who remains a director. In addition, Octavie Dexant, CEO of AXA Assurances Luxembourg, and Nicolas Limbourg, CEO of Vitis Life, have been appointed vice-presidents of the ACA.

This association, created in 1956, aims to defend professional interests and promote the Luxembourg insurance and reinsurance sector. ACA has 141 members.
