Immersive technologies at the service of cultural and tourist development

As part of the partnership agreement signed with Orange in March 2021, the Department of Seine-et-Marne collaborated with the Seine-et-Marnaise start-up Rendr to develop the “Complot à Blandy-les-Tours” application: who has a grudge against the lady of the castle”, launched last April.

Offered to visitors to the castle of Blandy-les-Tours, this new application offers to follow a fun and immersive journey in the heart of the Renaissance, with Jacqueline de Rohan, owner and Lady of the castle, to lead the investigation and thwart a plot which seems to be aimed directly at her.

This application is much more than a complement to the visit of the castle. The result of long-term work, this unique experience in Blandy-les-Tours also allows visitors to discover the castle and its architecture in a fun and educational way thanks to information on its history, questionnaires, games, as well as 3D creations of the castle that plunge us into the heart of the 16th centurye century.

“Indeed, with the support of the technology and applications offered by Rendr, a Seine-et-Marnaise start-up supported by Orange, the Department intends to participate in the revitalization of the cultural and tourist offer of the territory”says Véronique Veau.
