When Vivian asked for her gender and name in April, the teenager wrote in court papers that she is “no longer alive[d] with or desire[d] to be associated with [her] biological father in any way, shape or form.
Responding to Vivian’s decision in a September interview with the Financial Times, Musk said: “I have a really good relationship with everyone else. I can’t win them all.
He added that their estranged relationship “may change” one day.
When it comes to raising Musk’s young children, Grimes gave a rare glimpse into their family dynamic in March.
“I think E really sees [our son] as a protege and bring it to anything and everything,” the songwriter told “Vanity Fair” at the time. “X is over there.”
While the record producer and Musk were together during the interview, Grimes clarified via Twitter that they had called it by publishing the story.
“He is my best friend and the love of my life and my life and my art are now forever dedicated to The Mission,” she wrote. “the peace.”
