Casablanca: Hay Mohammadi’s Institute of Applied Technology will be rebuilt

The Hay Mohammadi Institute of Applied Technology will be demolished and rebuilt to upgrade training and work spaces. More than 33 million DH will be invested.

The Office for Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) has launched an architectural competition relating to the architectural studies and the conduct of demolition and reconstruction work of the’Hay Mohammadi Institute of Applied Technology (ITA). A budget of 33,123,000 dirhams will be invested in this capacity, reads a tender notice published by the OFPPT.

The aim of the demolition and reconstruction project for this institute is to Upgrade training and work spaces, which will increase the performance of trainees. The future space will be designed in such a way as to offer convivial spaces corresponding to the aspirations of the younger generations, and facilitating the different learning phases, continues the same source.

Spread over a land of 4,532 m2, the Hay Mohammadi Institute of Applied Technology offers training in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and automotive trades. It offers an overall capacity of 960 teaching places per year.
